Research and Professional Interests
Dr. Stark’s current research interests include team decision-making and performance, group productivity loss, and individual-difference congruence issues.

Key Publications
Dr. Stark’s research has been published in leading management journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Journal of Organizational Behavior.

Campus and Community Involvement
Dr. Stark is the academic advisor for the James Madison University Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). JMU SHRM is an organization dedicated to providing our members, HR leaders of tomorrow, with insight into the real world of Human Resource Management through practical HR experience such as workshops, seminars, internships, shadowing opportunities, and guest speakers.

Experience
Prior to joining the academic community, Dr. Stark was a major systems contract negotiator for the Department of Defense (1986-1993), and co-owned a physical therapy clinic for a number of years.
