Madison Week at James Madison University

Welcome to Madison Week 2015!

We will be celebrating our institution’s mission and honoring the legacy of the man known as the Father of the Constitution during Madison Week, March 15-21.

JMU's week-long celebration of the fourth president's 264th birthday will include events at the John C. Wells Planetarium, a trip to Montpelier (the home of James Madison), a Women's Lacrosse game, the 9th Annual Diversity Conference on Monday titled "Engaging Community, Creating Change" and much more. On Friday, March 20 a "Purple Out" Celebration will be held.  Throughout the week we will celebrate Madison-themed events with Dining Services and a day of volunteerism in the community. Go to the Schedule of Events page for more details!

Due to impending weather locations for Purple Out! have changed. Stop by the Student Success Center AND the Festival between 10 am and 2 pm for a cookie and prizes!!!
