Chair Responsibilities

Communications & Marketing (2 positions available)

• Design and implement year-long marketing plan
• Create all advertising & solicitation materials

• Brochure, Website (design and maintain), Banners, Commons Sign
• Table Tents; Breeze Ads; Etc.

• Advertise for events and recruitment (Challenge Captains)

Challenge Captain Liaison (2 positions available)

• Create recruitment materials
• Plan, Advertise, Conduct CC Training
• Create and implement ways to motivate Challenge Captains all year long
• Work with Student Director to plan monthly CC Meetings

External Relations (2 positions available)

• Coordinate all Student Org and Classroom presentations
• Send acknowledgements to participating professors
• Plan and reserve tabling & Commons days
• Seek out incentive donations from local area businesses
• Send acknowledgements to businesses who donate
• Create and implement an incentive distribution plan

Events (2 positions available)

• Assist in coordination of fall kick-off event
• Plan and implement MCC special events
• Assist in coordination of D-Hall Dinner & other senior week activities
• Assist in organization of Student Org Night & Cap and Gown Fair
• Help other chairs with event needs

Freshman Class Liaison (2 positions available)

• Work with other chairs to maintain consistent messaging between MCC and Freshman Class
• Design and implement creative ways to include MCC in freshman activities
• Work with events chairs to implement special event for the freshman class

Sophomore Class Liaison (2 positions available)

• Work with other chairs to maintain consistent messaging between MCC and Sophomore Class
• Design and implement creative ways to include MCC in sophomore activities
• Work with events chairs to implement special event for the sophomore class

Junior Class Liaison (2 positions available)

• Work with other chairs to maintain consistent messaging between MCC and Junior Class
• Design and implement creative ways to include MCC in junior activities
• Work with events chairs to implement special event for the junior class

Senior Class Liaison (1 position available)

• Work with other chairs to maintain consistent messaging between MCC and Senior Class
• Design and implement creative ways to include MCC in senior activities
• Assist advisor in creating a link between senior class and young alumni
• Work with events chairs to implement special event for the junior class
