The 1787 Society & the James Madison Center commemorated Constitution Day on the Commons.  Over 700 copies of the United States Constitution were distributed along with applications for the 1787 Society and a commemorative Constitution Day “Duke Dog.”  JMU students also entered a raffle for five autograph copies of the Madison Center’s recent publication, Liberty & Learning.  

Don’t miss Frank Winstead’s inspirational presentation at Memorial Hall on March 19th, 2010.  Frank believes that teaching is the most important job in the world. He engages his  audience through true stories, anecdotes, slides, and memorabilia and will show you the enormous power that teachers have to make a difference.
