Erie and Hudson Topography


The map centers on the State of New York. The Hudson Valley is the dark line running north (up) the east (right) side of the map. The northernmost portion of the dark line is Lake Champlain which forms the boundary between New York and Vermont. The Adirondacks (Adir.) are the mountains in the north east (upper right), and the Mohawk Valley is the dark line running just south of (below) the Adirondacks. Lake Erie is the shape partially shown in the southeast (lower left) corner of the map.
