Drills
The Harrisonburg-Rockingham LEPC conducts an annual drill
to test the readiness of the area emergency services, law enforcement agencies
and the various other community and business groups to respond to an emergency
situation.
The last drill was conducted on Saturday September
8th on Route 42 North (Virginia Avenue) in
Harrisonburg. The incident was
an accident which involved a propane tanker that struck a small truck carrying
pesticides, causing this truck to hit a van .
