Joan is the Executive Assistant for the JMU Learning Centers Administrative office. Her primary duties are to oversee the fiscal maintenance and budget development which supports all of the Learning Center programs, as well as to provide administrative support to the faculty, staff and director and currently working towards her BIS degree in Arts and Applied Sciences. In her spare time, Joan enjoys time with her granddaughter, genealogy and antiquing.

Amber is the Administrative Assistant for the Communication Center, University Writing Center, and English Language Learner Services. She graduated from Bridgewater College in 2007 and holds a BS in Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys reading, jogging, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
Mikaela Miller, Administrative Assistant for Science, Math, and PASS - mille2mj@jmu.edu
Mikaela is currently attending Lord Fairfax Community College and will graduate in August 2011 with her Associates of Arts & Sciences in General Studies. She plans on transferring to JMU to obtain her bachelor’s in business with a minor in accounting. In her free time, she enjoys running, spending time with friends & family, and playing with her cats.
