If you think your student might have a problem with substance abuse, the university has several resources available to students. Below is contact information for several campus and local resources. Judicial Affairs frequently refers to students to these resources as well.
- Counseling and Student Development Center
Services: substance abuse consultation, education, screening, assessment, referrals, and individual and group counseling.
- University Health Center
Services: alcohol and drug peer education programs, educational brochures, health screenings

Services: mental health 24-hour emergency services, intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment including case management, prevention, consultation, and education services for residents of Harrisonburg or Rockingham County.
