Authorized Voluntary Leave

If the Associate Vice President (AVP) has reasonable cause to believe that a student meets one or more of the criteria for administrative leave, the AVP may permit the student to voluntarily withdraw from the university and waive the right to further procedures under this policy. In most cases, a "W" will appear on the transcript for all courses in which the student is currently enrolled. If the AVP believes that future reenrollment at the university is an option, conditions necessary to re-enroll will be provided to the student in writing. Reasonable efforts will be made to refer the student for appropriate mental and/or physical health services.
