Services
- Issues the JMU Access Card (JAC), the passport to all campus activities and services while attending JMU.
- Administers all Dining Service meal plans and declining balance accounts (FLEX, Dining Dollars GOLD, and Dining Dollars) through a transaction processing system, which has readers located across campus. FLEX accounts are used by most students to pay for books, concert tickets, postal services, parking fees, laundry, snacks, personal needs and many other services both on and off campus. By using these accounts, students can protect their money and have no need to carry cash, credit cards or checks.
- Provides access to residence halls, athletic events, UREC, movies and many other events on campus via JAC. Card Services also provides a brochure outlining the services JAC can provide, mailings twice a year regarding commuter meal plans and the opportunity to add money to FLEX or Dining Dollar GOLD accounts.
- Maintains a Web site students can use to make deposits to FLEX or Dining Dollars GOLD Accounts, view JAC transactions, and deactivate a lost or stolen card.

Policies
If a card is lost or stolen, call the Card Services office or visit the Card Services website to deactivate the card immediately. When Card Services is closed, meal plan participants may go to Gibbons Hall or East Campus Dining Hall and present a pictured ID (license) to admit them to meal services until the next business day, after filling out a form authorizing Dining Services to deduct the meal from their account.
If no computer is available outside of regular business hours, contact the University Police to deactivate a lost or stolen card.
