Satisfactory Academic Progress
The university has established minimum standards governing satisfactory academic progress that a student must meet to be considered for financial aid.
If aid is denied and the student has extenuating circumstances, a letter of appeal may be submitted. (Appeal forms and a copy of the satisfactory academic progress policy can be found in the “Forms” section at www.jmu.edu/finaid.)
