Goals


  • Students will experience due process, impartial procedures, and have an understanding of the university policies through participation in the judicial process.
  • Students will have opportunities for learning and development through involvement in the sanctioned programs.
  • Students will increase awareness of civic responsibility through involvement in the judicial process and educational programs.
  • Students will increase their knowledge of university policies and procedures through participation in collaborative efforts and outreach programs.
  • Staff will uphold community standards of student behavior by developing, disseminating, and enforcing all University policies and judicial procedures.
  • Staff will measure program and service effectiveness by maintaining a collaborative partnership with the Center for Assessment and Research.
  • Staff will purposefully utilize technology to better serve the JMU community.
  • Staff will conduct themselves in a professional manner through compliance with all relevant statutes and professional or ethical guidelines.
