The Office of Judicial Affairs is now accepting applications for a 2009-2010 academic year Educational Program Assistant and Civic Learning Program Assistant positions.

Civic Learning Program Assistant
We are looking for individuals who are interested in working in a constantly changing, positive environment. Students will need to be able to work a fairly flexible schedule, coordinate students through the Civic Learning process, and assist with educational programs. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, experience working with groups, and the ability to complete administrative tasks and meet deadlines. This is a 7 hour/week position at $7.25/hour and is being offered to all JMU students, including those eligible for work-study.

Substance Education Program Assistant
The Office of Judicial Affairs is offering the opportunity for motivated, professional students to work in substance education. Candidates should posess good facilitation/presentation skills, be comfortable leading a group discussion and have some knowledge of alcohol and drug abuse. As a Substance Education Program Assistant, main duties include facilitating sanctioned drug/alcohol classes and assisting with all educational programming. The position starts at $7.25/hour and is scheduled for 8 hours a week.
