J.M.U. SYMPHONY CONCERT - last chance

The members of the James Madison University Symphony invite you to the final concert for 2007-08 on Saturday, April 26, 2008. The Concert will take place in Wilson Hall at 8:00 PM and will feature the winners of the School of Music Concerto Competition. The program for the performance is as follows:

Concerto No. 1, Op. 28 for Piano and Orchestra by Alberto Ginastera; Adagissimo and Tocatta concertata - Performed by Tracey Schimmel

Tzigane ­ Rapsodie de Concert for Violin and Orchestra by Maurice Ravel - Performed by Christopher Ferrara

Following intermission, the JMU Symphony will present Symphony No. 5, Op. 47 by Dmitri Shostakovitch.
