5K RUN/WALK FOR JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION - SATURDAY, 4/23 | |

From: Freshman Class Council On Saturday, April 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the College Center, the Freshman Class Council and Delta Chi Fraternity will co-sponsor the innaugural 5k Run/Walk for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).More than one million Americans have Type-1 diabetes, a disease most often diagnosed in childhood that strikes suddenly, lasts a lifetime, and carries the constant threat of deadly complications. Along with JDRF, our mission is constant: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Race registration packets will be available on the commons from April 11 through April 22. Registration fees are $10 before race day and $15 on race day.
