Is your child an aspiring artist? Are you looking for a quality program for your child to be involved in for part of the summer? Then the School of Art & Art History's Summer Art Education Program is the place to be! This year's program will take place during the weeks of June 16-19 and 23-26. There are still spaces available in many of the classes.
For ages 6-12, classes offered include, but are not limited to:
Ceramics, Printmaking, Space Art, Construction Zone, Pop Art Painting, Mixed Media and Ancient Art.
For 7th and 8th graders, offerings include: Ceramics, 3D Exploratory, Experimental Drawing, Digital Photo, Printmaking, Collage and Visual Journals.
All classes are taught by certified art instructors. Classes will be held in the JMU Studio Center located at 106 Grace Street.
