NEW WEB DATABASE LAUNCHED FOR STUDENT HONORS, GRADUATES | |

From: Media Relations July 11, 2006Are you the proud parent of a James Madison University graduate or of an outstanding student who made JMU's President's List or Dean's List? If you would like for your JMU student's or graduate's semester achievement to appear in your local newspaper, let your paper's editors know about JMU's Web site at http://www.jmu.edu/news/TheNewsroom/. Link to "Student News" and "Graduate & Honors Lists." At the site, editors can search the lists by name, city or zip code to find: * Graduates — Virginia and Out of State * President's List — Virginia and Out of State * Dean's List — Virginia and Out of State. Newspaper editors can find your student's name to verify that the student graduated or achieved an honors list. Or, they can search for zip codes within their news coverage area, and access the names and other information. |
