HARRISONBURG — Archbishop Desmond Tutu, recipient of the 1984 Nobel Peace Prize, will visit the Mahatma Gandhi Center for Global Nonviolence at James Madison University on the International Day of Peace, Friday, Sept. 21.
Prior to his public presentation Friday evening, Tutu will be available to interact with members of the media during a special press event.
WHEN: Friday, Sept. 21, 4-4:40 p.m.
WHERE: JMU Mahatma Gandhi Center for Global Nonviolence. Directions: From Cantrell Avenue, turn in to the JMU campus on Paul Street. The Gandhi Center is on the right, located at 500 Cardinal Drive. A campus map is available online at http://www.jmu.edu/map. The Cardinal House is in section C5.
