Makeup Days Designated for Winter-Weather Closings

Due to the recent winter-weather cancellations on Friday, Feb. 5, Monday, Feb. 8 and Wednesday, Feb. 10, James Madison University has designated the remaining Saturdays in February - Feb. 13, 20 and 27 - as the official university makeup days.

Faculty have several options for making up missed instruction time. They can:

• Hold class on the official university makeup day.
• Hold class at another time acceptable to class members. Each department should arrange time and location.
• Hold class electronically using a Web-based source.
• Compensate for the missed instructional time within remaining class meeting time.

Students should check with their professors to determine how missed classes will be accommodated.
