From: Media Relations Monday, September 4, 2000JMU's connection to the Internet has been interrupted periodically during much of the last week. The most recent failures have been attributed to hardware problems at Network Virginia, which provides the university's connection to the Internet. Network Virginia technicians expect to have the problems solved "around midday" today. Off-campus Internet users have experienced unusually slow access to JMU's Web site because of the hardware problems. For more detail information, view JMU's computing Web site. |
