HARRISONBURG – James Madison University and the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Department of Social Services are teaming up to raise money and collect toys for area foster children with "Operation Santa Claus," a night of song and film, Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 8 p.m. in JMU's Grafton-Stovall Theatre.

JMU's a cappella men's group, Exit 245, and women's group, BluesTones, will sing, and the original cartoon version of "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" will be shown during the event, sponsored by JMU Student Ambassadors, University Program Board and Social Services.

Admission is $5 per person or an unwrapped gift. Door prizes will be doled out.

The Student Ambassadors will have a booth on The Commons area of campus during the week of Dec. 4 to accept contributions from those who are unable to attend the Dec. 5 event. The student-service organization also has an angel tree in Carrier Library.

For more information, call (540) 568-6417, or e-mail to club-ambassador@jmu.edu.
