Poetry Reading by Cornelius Eady Oct 20th

Cornelius Eady, acclaimed African American poet will be reading from his poetry on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 4:00 in the Auditorium of Memorial Hall (the former Harrisonburg High School). Eady, a professor of creative writing at Notre Dame University, has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and won the 2002 Oppenheimer Award for the best first play by an American playwright. The reading is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Furious Flower Poetry Center at James Madison University and Target.
