We do it differently here.

We know that the big issues facing our world—energy, biotechnology, the environment—often fall outside the confines of traditional academic disciplines. That's one reason we foster rich collaboration among students and professors from many different disciplines. We are recognized nationally for our undergraduate research opportunities. We are all about innovative, hands-on learning that prepares our students to be catalysts for real change in their communities and around the world.

Science is changing more rapidly than ever. At JMU, we care about giving our students what they need to stay ahead and succeed. That includes a great scholarship program to help our students entering STEM programs.

JMU is the place to be for students who want to be the change in tomorrow's world.
