Students
who graduate from the JMU Department of Nursing are prepared to
take the NCLEX®, the national licensure examination for registered
nurses (RNs). All state boards of nursing in the US use this examination
to test competency and to license nurses for practice. The NCLEX®
is administered using computerized adaptive testing (CAT) at over
250 sites nationwide. NCLEX® pass rates for JMU graduates have
been strong and are listed below.
