Thoughts about this Core Quality
The Internal Analysis Team of the Madison Future Commission learned that JMU constituents desire that the university continue to be known as a place where the whole student is developed. That means the pursuit of academic quality, to be sure, but it also the broader development of the student as citizen in keeping with our mission statement. This was a reason that one committee of the MFC was devoted to Student Life & Success. In light of this, the University Planning Team and MFC committee chairs drafted this core quality. This core quality also supports and reflects our student-focus value.
