ACCESS, QUALITY AND PROGRESSION
Expand access, enhance student learning, and support timely degree progression through focusing on::
- Program development and delivery attentive to strategic areas noted in the 2011 Higher Education legislation (STEM, Health, expedited progression, and degree completion)
- Curriculum design and delivery that enhances student progression, efficiently uses resources, and maintains quality
- Enhancing programs that support student success and support faculty/staff development
- Enhancing physical and technological infrastructure
- Continued development of the Quality Enhancement Plan
- Effective use of program and student assessment
DIVERSITY
Create a diverse community through focusing on:
- Building and sustaining a critical mass of individuals from diverse populations to enrich the learning community
- Celebrating differences and similarities as part of the campus experience
- Identifying and addressing the cultural needs of the campus community, while strengthening a feeling of inclusion
ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP AND SUSTAINABILITY
Inspire personal and organizational engagement through focusing on:
- Facilities and land use
- Education and research
- Awareness and community involvement
- Energy, food and natural resources
FUNDING
Enhance and diversify funding sources through focusing on:
- Increased private support
- Expanded involvement of faculty, staff, alumni, parents, students and friends in our culture of philanthropy
- Increased sponsored research and outreach
- Increased general fund appropriations
