In Ferocious Beauty: Genome, the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange — one of the nation's most renowned "…beautiful, richly imaginative, hugely ambitious…a seamless blend of dance, music, ingenious storytelling, video and special effects" — The Chicago Sun-Times dance companies — explores the current historic moment of revelation and questioning in genetic research. Expect a gorgeously charged performance that will challenge you to think about the very fiber of your existence. Inspired by the mapping of the human genome, this multimedia dance piece is the result of a rare and unique collaboration between artists, scientists and educators.
