Highlights of this concert include JMU faculty John Hilliard's Love Songs for a New Kingdom with Carrie Stevens (mezzo-soprano), Beth Chandler (flute), Ian Zook (horn), Paulo Steinberg (piano); Benjamin Britten's Les Illuminations with Dorothy Maddison (soprano) with a string orchestra conducted by Jan Horstmann; David Lang’s Cheating, Lying, Stealing for bass clarinet, cello, piano and percussion; and the world premiere of Oliver Korte's Copernicus-Material for string orchestra.

Ticket prices: $8–$10 Advance tickets can be purchased online, by phone or in person at the box office (Mon.–Fri., 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. or 1½ hours prior to performance). Major credit cards, cash, checks and JACards accepted. Day of performance tickets will be sold beginning at 5 p.m. at JMU’s Convocation Center Box Office Entrance D. Major credits cards, cash, checks and JACards accepted.
JMU student tickets: $4 in person at Forbes Center Box Office only with student ID. One ticket per ID. Student tickets are not available online.

Mailing Tickets/Will Call — Tickets that are ordered more than two weeks in advance of a performance will be mailed to the address on file. Ticket orders received less than two weeks prior to a performance will be held for pickup at the Will Call window.
