Famous for hit singles such as Carry on Wayward Son and Dust in the Wind, legendary rock band KANSAS continues its groundbreaking and wildly successful Collegiate Symphony Tour with a collaborative concert featuring the esteemed JMU Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Robert McCashin. Original KANSAS member and drummer Phil Ehart says of the tour, “KANSAS and all the school symphonies just hit it off big time! The only people having more fun than us are all the students playing on stage with us!” The KANSAS Collegiate Symphony Tour is designed to help raise funds for university music programs and scholarships.
Ticket prices: $23–$53 Reserved Seating. Advance tickets can be purchased online, by phone or in person at the box office (Mon.–Fri., 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. or 1½ hours prior to performance). Major credit cards, cash, checks and JACards accepted. Day of performance tickets will be sold beginning at 5 p.m. at JMU’s Convocation Center Box Office Entrance D. Major credits cards, cash, checks and JACards accepted.
JMU student tickets: $15 in person at Forbes Center Box Office only with student ID. One ticket per ID. Student tickets are not available online.
Mailing Tickets/Will Call — Tickets that are ordered more than two weeks in advance of a performance will be mailed to the address on file. Ticket orders received less than two weeks prior to a performance will be held for pickup at the Will Call window.
