Beth Chandler enjoys an active career as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral player and teacher. A frequent guest artist and master class clinician, Chandler has performed and presented at major venues, festivals, and universities throughout the United States and abroad. She has won numerous awards and honors, including the top prizes of the Flute Talk Magazine Competition and Myrna Brown Artist Competition, as well as National Flute Association (NFA) competitions. As a Fulbright Scholar, Chandler studied in Kent, England. A native Texan, Chandler holds degrees from Baylor University, New England Conservatory and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Chandler is Associate Professor of Flute at James Madison University. She currently serves as President of the National Flute Association.

JMU student tickets: Advance tickets — $5 discount tickets in person at the Forbes Center Box Office only with ID. One ticket per ID. Student tickets are not available online. Cash only 1½ hours prior to performance.

Mailing Tickets/Will Call — Tickets that are ordered more than two weeks in advance of a performance will be mailed to the address on file. Ticket orders received less than two weeks prior to a performance will be held for pick-up at the Will Call window.
