* Important note about door prizes

Employees who win door prizes will see an increase in the amount of FICA tax withheld and VA State tax withheld on their June 12th, 2009 pay check.  JMU is required to withhold FICA tax and VA State tax from the paycheck of a prize winner. JMU is only required to report the increased Federal Taxable amount and not actually withhold the Federal tax.

Below is a sample table of taxes withheld for prize winners:
