An exhibition entitled Envisioned will feature student work from this fall's studio seminar, Scientific Visualization and Animation, and will be held on Tuesday Nov. 27, from 11:00-1:00.
Selected works include a putting simulation demonstrating the motion of a particle on curved surfaces, 3D modeling of the behavior of a drop of water, the transmission of radio signals from bodies moving in three dimensions presented in the form of a simulation of the Global Positioning System, and an historical account of hurricane movement rendered on top of texture maps projected on the Earth.
