IVS Spring Course Exhibition
- The Spring IVS Studio Seminar Art and Math: Beautiful Rigor presented works created during the semester. The disciplines of art and mathematics have a long history of using and inspiring each other. This course examined four major themes that are common to art and mathematics: self-reference, closure, measurement, and completeness. The art media include digital imaging, relief printing, fabric transfers, crochet, video, and other processes. The class was half studio art, half upper level mathematics.
