- This exhibition presents selected highlights from Picture It! The Office of Institutional research at JMU launched Picture It! in 2006 with 16 freshman students. IVS Course Exhibition
- The Fall 2008 IVS Studio Seminar in Philosophical and Psychological Aesthetics presented multimedia and visual projects by multidisciplinary teams of students in the fall IVS Studio Seminar in Philosophical and Psychological Aesthetics. Works explored the nature of representational images, aspects of pictorial meaning, sources of artistic and aesthetic value, objective and subjective contributions to the experience of awe,and several works intended to produce aesthetic ‘chills’.
