Restoration ecology, birds, sustainable living, soil health, agronomy, gardening, forestry, exclusion of livestock from streams, restoration of the Chesapeake Bay, South Africa, Central America, anti-poaching, history and bringing back the Northern Bobwhite.

Farmer: I help my wife Jeanne, ninth generation farmer, on her family farm.  We have a commercial cow/calf operation with 120 brood cows and six bulls.  In addition to several hundred acres of cool season pasture we have 6 acres of riparian forest buffers protecting Middle River and 5 acres of native grass pasture.
