Product Development Lab
Product Development Lab equipment--operating in conjunction with the Engineering and Manufacturing Lab--is used to teach the fundamental steps and tools required to bring a product from concept to commercialization and production. This lab is equipped with 12 computer-aided design stations running a variety of design, solid-modeling and plant-layout software. It is also equipment with rapid prototyping machines that construct three-dimensional models of student designs. The lab also supports many computer-based analysis and software, such as Excel Solver, supply chain simulation and materials selection.
