Engineering/Manufacturing Lab
The Engineering and Manufacturing Lab provides hands-on experience to all students in engineering manufacturing on how to apply computer automation, information system integration and statistical process control for improving process quality, providing greater flexibility and efficiency of manufacturing systems. The lab's centerpiece is a computer-integrated manufacturing system configured in a similar fashion to industrial manufacturing plants and includes a flexible conveyor system with automatic storage and retrieval, laser bar-code reader, machining and turning centers, robots and quality control systems.
