Beyond the Great Wall

The Office of International Programs is happy to announce the 2008 I-Week focus is China: Beyond the Great Wall. Click here to download our IWeek poster!
The opening ceremony will take place at noon on Monday, September 22, with a Chinese Lion Dance, the traditional start to festivities. The international events throughout the week will include a musical concert featuring a combination of JMU musicians and Chinese artists, a study abroad fair, a photo contest, an international bazaar where vendors will display and sell their crafts, student performances and concerts. Be sure to check the posted calendar of events for times and locations.
Please join us as we commemorate cultural diversity at JMU. We invite our community of Harrisonburg, also rich in many languages and cultures, to join us and be part of International Week.
