Registration with Immigration
All F visa holders are required, by your immigration status, to report to the Designed School Official (DSO) or Respoible Official (RO) for registration with the Department of Homeland Security. This is done by completing the International Student Data Report or "Blue Form" which allows the ISSS office to register you in SEVIS. The "Blue Form" will need to be completed within the first two weeks of every semester. This form updates your current address, phone number, major, and graduation date. It is extremely important that you complete the Blue Form every semester, as failure to comply could cause your immigration status to be terminated.
NEW F visa holders: Stop by the International Student & Scholar Services office to complete the International Student Data Report (New) or "Blue Form". Provide copies of your immigration documents (passport ID page, entry stamp and visa stamp). We will make copies of your documents in the office.
RETURNING F visa holders: Complete the International Student Data Report (Returning) or "Blue Form" and return it to ISSS or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you recently traveled outside the United States, please include updated immigration documents (passport ID page, entry stamp, and visa stamp). We can make copies at our office or they can be scanned and emailed.
