Offering the Position

Once you have offered the position to the best-qualified candidate, you may then inquire about his/her immigration status and the future need for JMU sponsorship. If sponsorship will be required, please immediately ccomplete the Background Form for H-1B Visas (found here) and return it to oIP's Director of International Student and Scholar Services to begin the paperwork as quickly as possible.
