Directions to Best Western from I-81

• Take Exit 247A - Elkton 33 East
• Merge onto Route 33 East – Market Street
• Turn right at the Burgess Rd Route 33 – Market Street intersection.
• Turn into the first driveway on your right.

Directions to the Friday registration and activities at Eastern Mennonite University from Best Western

• Turn left onto Burgess Road, which turns into Linda Lane.
• Go through the first set of traffic lights and follow the road approximately 1/2 mile to the next traffic light. (There is a hotel across the street and a newly built road after the light.)
• At that traffic light, turn left onto Country Club Road
• Follow Country Club Road to where it dead ends at the Sheetz station
• At the traffic light by the Sheetz station turn right onto Vine Street
• Continue following Vine Street, which will eventually turn into Mt. Clinton Pike
• Take Mt. Clinton Pike all the way to EMU.
• You will cross an intersection at Route 42 - there will be baseball and soccer fields on your right. Continue going approximately 1/2 mile and the entrance to EMU's at Smith Road will be on your right. Turn onto Smith Road and park in the Seminary parking lot, immediately to your left.

Directions to the Saturday registration and activities at the Plecker Center, Blue Ridge Community College from Best Western

• Turn left onto Burgess Road
• Turn left onto 33W
• Turn left onto I-81 S toward Staunton
• Take the VA-256 exit- EXIT 235- toward WEYERS CAVE / GROTTOES
• Turn RIGHT onto WEYERS CAVE RD / VA-256
• Turn LEFT onto US-11 / LEE HWY
• BRCC Weyers Cave Campus is about a half-mile on the left

  Parking for the Plecker facility may be accessed by using the south (the second) entrance, beside the Criminal Justice Training Academy.

Lodging for 2008 Conference

Hotel rooms are available for four same-gender students for one night at $35/room.  We cannot offer the special rate for 2 or 3 students if the school is bringing additional students of the same gender.  (i.e., If you have eight female students, we can only offer 2 rooms at $35/room.  If you choose to put fewer than four students in a room, you will pay the $55 fee for the additional rooms.  If, however, you are only bringing 2 female students from your school, you can take advantage of the reduced rate for those students.)  In addition, the special rate is available for each faculty advisor accompanying students. 

All rooms needed for a second night will be $55/room regardless of the number of individuals staying in them. Any questions about this policy should be addressed to Delo Blough by e-mail or by calling 540-568-6336.

Rooms have been reserved at the Best Western on 33 East - Market Street.  The special rate is NOT available if you make your reservation directly with Best Western. However, you can obtain additional information about the accommodations at their official website.

Should you wish to reserve a room/s at the reduced rate, please so indicate on the registration form, and include payment for the lodging with the registration fee payment.
