OPT Session at 4pm in Taylor 404
OPT is designed to provide international students with an opportunity to gain actual employment experience in his/her chosen profession for a maximum of one year. You may choose to take this one year in shorter increments during summer vacations, or wait and take the full year after graduation. Learn more about it and the whole application process during this presentation

H1B & Green Card Session at 5pm in Taylor 404
Are there any more options after OPT? How long does it take to opbtain an H1B and/or green card? Are these even feasible and realistic options? Mark Rhoads, immigration attorney, will answere all of your questions and more.

The interview process is your time to shine and demonstrate your skills, experiences and personality… don’t be stressed! Learn more during this interactive presentation

Resume Writing at 3:30pm in Wilson 303 (Resource Center)
Handwriting a resume or cover letter and submitting photos of yourself are unheard of in the U.S. and it is against the law. Knowing what type of information to include in your resume and how to convey it will either land you the job that you are applying for or not.

Alumni Panel at 4pm in Wilson 306
Learn from the individuals with first hand experience, from those who like you had to go through this whole ordeal. What worked for them? What didn’t? What tips and advice do they have for you?

Come and join use to this reception! What better reasons are there but to conclude this International Career Week on a positive note, to thank all of your special guests, and to celebrate the beginning of this new year. You can even practise your networking skills then!
