JMU Media Resources Equipment
Loans has digital still cameras, digital video cameras and laptop
computers that faculty and staff may borrow for international trips
subject to availability and Media Resources approval.
However, please note the following:
- The borrower and the borrower's department are financially liable
for any equipment borrowed.
- The borrower is responsible for acquiring and using the appropriate
adapters and voltage converters needed for the equipment borrowed
and the international regions being visited.
- Borrowers unfamilar with the type of equipment they wish to
borrow must seek training and assistance from Equipment Loans
or through such JMU resources as the Center
for Instructional Technology (CIT).
To pursue borrowing equipment for an international trip, please
visit the Equipment
Loans web site and review the terms and qualifications regarding
borrowing equipment, and then contact Cindy Minter (568-6803, minterck@jmu.edu)
in Equipment Loans to request equipment. Be sure to
specify that you will be taking the equipment on an international
trip.
