She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2010 with a B.A. in Political Science and concentration in Applied Economics. Jessica has a diverse international background, growing up in several countries across Central America and southern Africa due to her parents’ positions with the U.S. Agency for International Development. Before coming to JMU she also spent some time working in elementary education. She is fluent in Spanish and speaks some French (and hopes to learn more!).
