Living in London

You will be living in the Bloomsbury area, in the midst of the University of London. Not only is this area convenient to your classrooms, the library and the student union, but it is also within walking distance of 80 percent of London's major attractions. Nearby you will find Regent's Park, a huge complex of gardens, ponds and playing fields for team sports or for jogging and tennis.

Though it is quiet and safe, the hostel neighborhood is only a ten- minute walk from such varied experiences as the gaudy night life of Piccadilly Circus, the Bohemian and punk world of Camden Market, the trendy venues of Covent Garden, the pin-striped and bowler-hat dignity of the Inns of Court and the shoppers' paradise of Oxford Street. Within a five-minute walk of your front door, you will find a multitude of inexpensive Italian, Greek and Indian restaurants.
