University of St. Andrews - Academic Program

St. Andrews' academic calendar runs from late September to the end of May in two semesters each with 12 weeks of teaching and a 3-week revision/examination period. Courses, called modules, are generally taught in small classes by world-renowned faculty. Typically students take two or three modules per semester.
