JMU Honors Abroad

Oxford University, England, University of St Andrews, Scotland, and Cambridge University, England

Study abroad for the spring term or full academic year at one of the three oldest and most respected universities in Great Britain. The Honors Abroad Program is open to all JMU students possessing a GPA of 3.3 or higher; it is not necessary to be an Honors student to participate in this program, although Honors credit can be earned.

Program Dates

Oxford University

Oxford's academic calendar runs from October through June. Students can apply for the full academic year or two spring terms. The tentative deadline for submitting applications for this program is February 1.

University of St Andrews

St Andrews' academic calendar runs from late September to the end of May. Students can apply for the full academic year or the spring semester. The tentative deadline for submitting applications for this program is February 1.

Cambridge University

Cambridge's academic calendar runs from October through June. Students can apply for the two spring terms. The tentative deadline for submitting applications for this program is February 1.
