The capital of Egypt, Cairo is a large, vibrant city possessing one of the greatest collections of architecture in the world, and is a wonderful place for students.
Misr International University (MIU) was founded in 1996 as a competitive English-medium university and offers majors in six faculties, or disciplines. MIU is fully aware of the importance of opening up to the world and as such, places a great deal of importance on international partnerships, sustaining relationships with over a dozen universities in Europe and the U.S.
MIU enrolls approximately 4,000 students at their modern campus on the outskirts of Cairo in Heliopolis. University buses run back and forth from campus regularly.
In order to support international students academically, a special curriculum in Middle East Studies has been developed for international students, offering a year's worth of classes in areas from history to music to Arabic language.
