Through time spent in EU member countries and visits to the EU’s main governing bodies in Brussels, Strasbourg and Frankfurt, students will learn about the exciting transitions currently transforming the world of international relations.

Academic Program

This course in the geography of Europe includes a three-week classroom component at JMU, followed by a 12-day tour of France, Germany, England, Luxembourg and Belgium. The course will cover the physical geography of Europe, but its focus will be primarily on the human geography factors such as culture, language, national identity, and politics.
