Roberto Ricciuti

progphoto_eups_ricciutiRoberto Ricciuti graduated in Economics and Business at the University of Bari in 1998. He received a MSc in Economics at the University of Exeter in 2000 and earned a Ph.D in Economics at the University of Siena with a dissertation on “Essays in Fiscal Policy” in 2004. Under the Fulbright Program, he was a visiting student at North Carolina State. In 2003-2004, he was a Lecturer in Economics at Royal Holloway, University of London, teaching Microeconomics and Industrial Organisation. He was a visiting fellow at ICER (International Center of Economic Research – Turin), and a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Siena, where he taught modules in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Economic Analysis and Forecasting.

Currently, he is Lecturer at the School of Political Science of University of Florence, where he teaches Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. He is also lecturer in economics in the course aimed at preparing postgraduate students to enter the diplomatic service organized by the Institute of International Studies, in Florence. In the academic year 2005/2006 he taught International Economic Policy at the University of Siena. In September 2007 he was a Jean Monnet Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute.
